Friendly staff made the stay pleasant, and the location was perfect for downtown access. Air conditioning didn't work well, making the rooms uncomfortably warm.

The staff was friendly and helped with requests promptly. The air conditioning barely worked in my room. Cleanliness in the bathroom could use improvement. Convenient location near downtown is a plus.

The staff was beyond friendly, especially a lovely woman who made our late night check-in a breeze. My room was clean and comfy with a cute patio view of the pool, perfect for relaxing with my pup! The outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi were a dreamy way to unwind after a long day.
Totally recommend! 🥰🐾

The room was spacious with a comfy bed and nice floors. Having an extra sink outside the bathroom made getting ready super easy.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but still managed to be a decent choice.

Easy to find and close to the venue, this place had a clean room with a comfortable bed and decent water pressure. the air conditioning struggled, making for a restless night. I appreciated the friendly staff, but one person at the front desk wasn’t enough to handle the volume; they even came off breaks to help guests. Breakfast was lackluster, with missed opportunities for replenishing. Minor maintenance issues lingered, but the overall value for the price made it worthwhile. Just wish they'd focused on a more pleasant, customer-centered experience.

Very low maintenance everywhere. The bed was comfortable. Nice darts and billiards area for fun. Elevator noise was annoying.

A great place for corporate guests, holiday travelers, and BSU family. Meeting facilities were top-notch. The spa tub, fitness center, and outdoor pool were a delightful treat. I could explore Boise easily or simply relax.
The carpeting resembled a maze of bunched, duct-taped mess.

Just a suitable option for a mini-break over the weekend in Boise with fantastic value for money. Spacious room and comfortable bed.

Comfortable beds ensured a restful night. I woke up refreshed. The room size was perfect for my group, and the TV functioned flawlessly. Breakfast was fresh but overpriced; $7 for what should be complimentary is questionable. Disappointingly, some items weren’t replenished promptly. Housekeeping staff, David, was exemplary—helpful beyond expectation. Ocean at the front desk was outstanding; her grace under pressure made my hectic check-in seamless. air conditioning issues plagued our stay and the structure itself felt neglected. No accessibility to a functioning pool or hot tub. Despite its potential, ongoing maintenance issues detract from the overall experience. With some improvements, this place could truly shine.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, although two double beds felt a bit cramped for three adults. Temperature control was an issue; the room was cold and the heat didn’t work properly. I appreciated the convenient location next to the pool and hot tub, which made relaxation easy. Noise levels were surprisingly low, even with a full hotel. We had some trouble with the keys, which didn’t work half the time. Towels were thin, and the hall carpets could use a good cleaning. Breakfast had decent options, but it felt a bit sparse overall.

I had the worst check-in experience ever—stood in line for ages while the one stressed staff member struggled with multiple guests. My first room was filthy, and it took three tries just to get a clean one. What a mess!

You can’t beat the location! It’s close to parks and has plenty of free parking. The staff member at check-in was friendly and made the process easy, even when alone.
My balcony had a super depressing view.

I had a wonderful experience exploring Boise since everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away, including popular spots like the Idaho Black History Museum, Julia Davis Park, and a variety of great restaurants like Sushi Joy and Smoky Mountain Pizzeria Grill, all within about 500 meters. The hotel itself offered spacious and clean accommodations with a big comfortable bed and a smart TV with Netflix—perfect for unwinding after a day out. I did notice a few areas for improvement, like the hallways needing cleaning and some outdated features.

Despite the problems, being close to downtown was convenient for exploring the city. The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, making for a cozy stay during our romantic escape.
The hotel desperately needs renovations; the rooms were plagued with a musty smell, uncleaned cobwebs, and malfunctioning keys.

The pros were that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated the price and the breakfast was good enough. There were quite a few cons. The hotel itself felt dated and tired, in need of repairs and updates.

I chose Red Lion Hotel for its proximity to the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, but the free shuttle service pleasantly surprised me. The Coffee Garden offers delicious American fare, and the immediate vicinity has great dining options.
Lack of staff during breakfast.
